Presentation

A handmade doll created by the Antagonist Movement, once came from New York city, as part of a project called "The Dolls of Lisbon".

From there I created a persona called Pacheco Boavida that's all crashing in someone's couch for a week or two, and then have the opportunity to meet those persons and incoporate a very nomadic way of life, soundly based on the notion of precariousness.

To accomplish this I've a created a facebook account for this doll and handed it to the first person in Lisbon (the receptor) that was working as free lancer, and with the following instructions:

a) The Receptor could stay with the doll for a minimum of 1 week and maximum of 4 weeks. The receptor could choose the ammount of time.

b) The Receptor received the doll, and all the facebook account information so that is enabled to edit the doll's facebook.

c) The Receptor can use the doll Facebook account in any desired form but always assuming the doll persona , meaning that cannot speak on his/her own voice but as is he/her was in fact Pacheco Boavida relating his daily issues, events, or statements

d) After the period of reception of the doll, the Receptor has the power to choose any other Receptor to continue the process, but the choice of the next Receptor is limited to one detail: it has to be someone that's working as free lance, artist, or other liberal activitiy that induces precariousness.

e) The Receptor should then transmit the facebook account, the doll and the instructions to the new Receptor.

Using the Facebook as the persona maker was not an innocent choice.
